Jazz Winnipeg
Jazz Winnipeg is the proud producer of the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival in downtown Winnipeg every June. The festival relies on a huge team of volunteers like you to make this annual urban festival possible. We respectfully ask that all Jazz Winnipeg Volunteers commit to a minimum of 15-20 volunteer hours over the course of the festival and attend 1.5 hours of training.
Time Frames of Volunteering: June 3-6 (training) and June 14-22 (festival shifts)
Some of our crews are now full, so we are seeking volunteers to fulfill roles on our Event Safety, Bar, Merch, Box Office, and Enviro crews. The description of individual crews is on our Better Impact volunteer portal homepage here

Harvest Manitoba
Harvest is a not-for-profit, community-based organization, dedicated to nourishing our community, and our sense of community. Thanks to our amazing community spirit, and generous hearts, Harvest collects and shares 11 million lbs of healthy and nutritious food to hungry Manitobans every year.

Special Olympics Manitoba
Special Olympics Manitoba is recognized as the sport governing body for individuals with an intellectual disability. It is a registered non-profit charity, in which funds raised provide quality sport programming for athletes. They continue to be dedicated to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion and human dignity for people with an intellectual disability through sport.

Special Olympics Manitoba is looking for coaching, event, committee, and office volunteers. They accept volunteers all year round, especially at the start of their program year (September-October).
United Way Winnipeg
United Way helps fund over 125 agencies in our city. United Way works with agency partners to help fill volunteer and collection drive needs at their organization.

St. Amant
St. Amant volunteers help enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and autism.

St. Amant accepts volunteers all year round and they offer various opportunities which include recreational activities, pen pals, helping to make phone calls, and assisting with swim therapy.
Agape Table
Agape Table provides a bagged meal for breakfast. Agape, meaning unconditional love, is committed to providing a community-based program, nourishing the body, mind, and spirit of our guests in a cost effective and financially responsible manner.

Agape Table accepts volunteers all year round. The times for groups of five: Monday to Friday 8am – 11am and Noon to 2pm. Individuals can come as early as 5:00 to help with the kitchen.
