The following article was written by Jonny Hoang. Jonny recently attended National Congress 2020 held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport & Conference Centre in Toronto, Ontario from January 1st – 5th.
From January 1-5, I had the opportunity to go to a conference named National Congress 2020. My main takeaway of this event, was the importance of leadership and how it can change lives and make an impact on a global scale. Through this conference, I got to network with over 200 delegates across Canada, and I feel as if I made long-lasting relationships with delegates who are now one of my closest friends today. Additionally, I can say I made friendships with people who I can trust, who also have real connections with top businesses in the city of Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Ottawa. With this conference, I know this will not be my last. I encourage anyone who wants to elevate your experience at Asper, to take that extra step, to go to conferences, and explore the realms of possibilities as a business student.
